Linavelle’s Free Birth Story birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021

As I laid on my bed in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic at La Casa de Diana, in a small town in the mountains I felt different. I had been feeling tired and my breasts felt sore every time I fed Cadyn. I had been in this beautiful country for 3 weeks now. Enjoying the sandy beaches and beautiful culture. I was also visiting my mothers and fathers extended family. This small town was my rest from all the traveling and adventures. Nestled in the mountains it felt like I was in the jungle. Our room...

The Freebirth of baby Dominic Immanuel birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021
Only halfway thru my pregnancy is when I started having anxiety about birthing. It just got worse as the weeks went along. I started asking questions about home birth to a cousin that experienced it. She set me up with Facebook groups that were geared towards that. And in the last few months I knew I wanted a home birth.

According to most my birth with the last baby was good couldn't be better. But I didn't like the environment of a hopsital. Hated the bed..the cold..the smell..the noise..th...

The freebirth of Juniper đź’– birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021

I was 41+2 and had come to terms with the idea that I might be pregnant until 43 or 44 weeks or even longer and that I would trust my body and my baby that everything was ok. I spoke to her daily and felt so completely connected. She was such an active little girl and constantly acknowledging me with kicks every time I would speak to her.

This was my first unassisted pregnancy, but fifth baby and it was by far the easiest (physically).

Mentally I was in a hard place for a couple of months. M...

Dania's Freebirth In Water birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021
After our positive pregnancy test we were so happy and relaxed, I knew I wanted things to go differently than they had for my girls, but hadn’t uncovered where my boundaries fell at that point.

I roughly worked my dates out and didn’t end up booking in with my GP until I was about 11wks. I was disappointed to find out my normal GP was overseas, I had only really seen her when I discovered I was pregnant three years ago so we didn’t have a close relationship anyway. But I went along to see t...

The Freebirth Story Of Dexter Lee Bartoe birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021

I was 41+1 weeks pregnant Friday, May 25, 2018. That afternoon I had taken a nap with my toddler, and my husband came to lay and chat when he got home for work. I was telling him how I was feeling emotional at seeing all the babies born the past few days and getting anxious to meet our 4th little one. He was being reassuring as usual and feeling my belly. He thought the baby felt fairly low, a noticeable difference from a day or so before. As he was feeling around, the baby moved in an odd way a...

A Family Birth birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 18, 2021

Please note* The midwife mentioned in this birth story is the birthing woman's mother, and so it was a relaxed dynamic as family vs a client/midwife dynamic.*

This is the story of my fifth homebirth.  With four successful homebirths under my belt, a strong belief in the birth process and my body's ability, my partner and i decided to try for an unassisted birth.  I love the intimate idea of free birthing and with this being my fifth, why not go for it. I made my midwife (who is also my mom) ...
