The Free Birth of Sage Wolf birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 19, 2021

I sit in meditation in front of my birthing alter, in the bell tent where I plan to birth my baby. It’s dark, but warm candle light fills the space. To the left of me is the birth pool set up, to the right a cozy bed and heater, above my head affirmation flags dangle, created with intention by the closest women in my life. My alter is filled with special items - crystals, shells, seed pods and artwork, all representing the support, love and trust around me. A space of intention, of power and of ...

Birthing Outside in Power & Instinct birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 19, 2021

When I became pregnant just before the total solar eclipse of 2017, I knew pretty much right away and never thought to take a pregnancy test. I felt different, wasn't bleeding, and had to pee way too often. That was enough for me. Those early months I just remained open to come what may. About 3-4 months in as my belly noticeably grew, it felt more and more real to me. We were living near Mount Shasta in a sort of tipi and yurt village with three families, and two of the women had freebirthed th...

Lilliana's Freebirth birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 19, 2021

At 2:30 a.m. on August 8th I woke up to my toddler stirring next to me. I patted his butt and shushed him to try to keep him asleep. I did not want him to wake up because I knew that meant the rest of the night he’d be literally on top of me. We were at my parent’s house that night because our shower was being redone at home the previous day and they were supposed to come back the next morning to finish it. Luckily, he fell back asleep. I was awake though and of course needed a snack. I decided ...

I feel as though I gave birth to so many things in my experience with a freebirth. One being a rebirth of myself. A new understanding of who I was. Another being a passion, a purpose.
I've never written my story out before. So, without further ado! Here we go:

I had just met the man of my dreams. I was 21, wildly floating through life, looking for answers when I first experienced and listened to that feeling of knowing. I knew from the mome

My freebirth story of Roman Peter birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 19, 2021
I lost my mucous plug at 41+5 and finally had an solid inclination that labor was near.

10pm: I began having contractions that were 10 minutes apart. At that point it was just me and my toddler in bed together. I was excited for impending labor!

12am: I was feeling tired and frustrated that I was in labor instead of sleeping. I didn't want to be alone so I called my mom and asked if she would come over and comfort me.

She arrived and climbed into bed with me. The contractions contin...

Free Birth of Eshma Jean birthing truth: a collection of freebirth stories Oct 19, 2021

On Sunday morning at around 1 am, I started doing the Miles Circuit, per recommendation from a good friend of mine, to ensure that baby was in good positioning for birth. To my surprise, at 5 am I woke up to contractions along with a bloody show. I didn't think anything of it, as I had never experienced this, so I did a little research and went back to sleep. Or I tried to at least. The contractions kept coming at random intervals but I was consistently experiencing them every hour. Still, I tho...
