JOY is a small, intimate gathering for women, mothers, and daughters to slow down, connect, play, rest, and remember what matters.

Hosted on beautiful family land in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this retreat is designed to feel nourishing, restorative, and FUN. Chef prepared delicious food, fresh air, spring water, meaningful connection, and space to be together without the noise of everyday life.

This is not a large festival.
This is not a public event.
This is a carefully held weekend for women and girls who want a highly curated play-based gathering of like-hearted women and girls.

What JOY is

JOY is a retreat for women, mothers, and daughters who want to gather in beauty, nature, play, and creative depth.

Over four days, we will share meals, sing, move, create, laugh, rest, and be together in nature. There will be workshops, circles, play, bodywork, crafts, spaciousness, and room for the retreat to unfold with ease.

Think intimate summer camp meets sacred women’s gathering. Drumming under the moon, dancing with the stars, singing with the sunrise, sharing in circle, lying in the sunshine - it’s time to give yourself space to fully BE.

Who should come

JOY is for you if:

You want a beautiful and meaningful experience with your daughter *or* you need some quality ME time and want to come alone 

You are craving a more intimate gathering, not a giant event.

You value connection, presence, and being around like-minded women and mothers.

You want your daughter to experience beauty, belonging, play, and intergenerational community.

You are excited by the idea of being held in nature, sharing meals, and stepping outside of your normal routine for a few days.

This retreat is especially for mothers who want to create a memory with their daughters that feels special, life-giving, and real. (Having or bringing a daughter is by no means a requirement; we just thought it would be fun to emphasize on including our daughters this year!)

Retreat details

Dates: June 4 to 7
Location: Blue Ridge Mountains
Arrival: Thursday between 2 and 4 PM
Departure: Sunday by noon

Accommodations

JOY is a nature-based retreat with flexible sleeping options so you can choose what feels best for you (and your kiddos).

Most guests will be camping or staying in simple setups on the land. This is part of the experience. Slowing down, being outside, and living a little closer to the earth for a few days.

Included options

You are welcome to:

• bring your own tent
• sleep in your vehicle
• bring a small camper (26 ft or under)
• Come and go to a nearby Airbnb 

There is no additional cost for these options.

Upgraded options

If you prefer a more comfortable setup, we have limited upgraded accommodations available:

Glamping Bell Tent — $1,000
A fully set up tent with two real beds, linens, towels, a rug, and a shaded outdoor area. Arrive and settle in without needing to bring anything.

Ready-Set Camp Bundle — $500
A simple, ready-to-go tent setup with sleeping mats, pillows, and towels. A great middle option if you don’t want to pack your own gear.

These are limited and will be offered on a first-come basis after registration.

Mother + (child) daughter pair: $2,000
Single adult: $1,500
Additional child: $500 each

Children 2 and under are free. Please note: Only boys under the age of three are allowed. 

A $500 deposit secures your spot.
The remaining balance is due by April 30.
