With over 1000 graduates from over 30 countries, The RBK School is leading the transformation of birth-work across the planet.
If you feel called to explore or shift your place in the world of birth, this is where you start.
More and more women are seeking education, context, and community around birth outside of conventional frameworks. Many are reconnecting with perspectives that center self-responsibility, physiological birth, and the deeper wisdom of the female body. As interest in sovereign birth grows, so does the need for thoughtful, well-prepared birth keepers, coaches, and educators who can hold space with clarity, integrity, and respect for women’s choices.
The Radical Birth Keeper School offers a comprehensive education designed to support that path. Inside, you'll have access to over 30 hours of high level content needed to understand the political and psychological dynamics of the medical birth system, along with grounded tools for self-mastery, foundational business skills, and an introduction to the art and practice of supporting families outside of the medical model.
This Is Not Mainstream Birth-Work...
We do things a little different here.
The Radical Birth Keeper School offers a comprehensive foundation in radical birth keeping, taught by long-standing birth activists Yolande Norris Clark and Emilee Saldaya.
We believe that every birthing mother deserves the opportunity to access the innate connection and deep resonance available within herself.
In a world where modern obstetrics continues to shape nearly every facet of childbirth, including approaches labeled "natural birth", the RBK school invites you to thoughtfully examine the intersections of physiological truth, historical context, and the philosophical roots of what many women describe as autonomous birth.
For those called to serve women, understanding the nuance and complexity of this paradigm is essential. The RBK School will support you in cultivating clarity, integrity, discernment, and a multitude of skills as you accompany families through one of life’s most profound transformations.
Learn from the women who changed the conversation around birth.
With a combined four decades of experience, Emilee and Yolande bring depth, clarity, and a level of nuance that many women describe as profoundly perspective-changing. Their approach is thoughtful, honest, and unlike anything offered in conventional birth education.

"The Radical Birth Keeper School was a deeply needed immersion into a world I had been longing for. Being in community with like-hearted women, learning from decades of lived wisdom, and accessing perspectives and resources outside the medical system was profoundly transformative.
The school illuminated my fears, gave me tools to claim my own truth and power, and left me with the confidence to birth on my own terms. The value, the growth, and the community I gained are truly priceless."

The RBK School Is For You If:
You love birth, but the politics exhaust you.
You are drawn to birth-work, yet confused or turned off by the infighting, credential hierarchies, competition, and territorial behavior that dominate much of the birth world. This school offers context, language, and discernment without asking you to pick a side.
You are new to birth-work and want a solid foundation.
If you feel the pull toward serving women, whether formally or informally, but do not yet understand the landscape, this program grounds you in first principles before you try to act.
You are already in the system and questioning it.
You may be a midwife, doula, nurse, or birth professional who once believed reform was possible and is now noticing the cracks. If you are questioning the obstetric model itself and your role within it, this is a place to slow down and think clearly.
You see that reform is not the answer, but you are unsure what comes next.
If you recognize that institutional birth cannot be fixed from the inside, yet feel uncertain how to step out without losing integrity, coherence, or purpose, this school offers a grounded alternative rather than a fantasy.
You want an ethical, honest approach to birth-work.
You are looking for a way of engaging with birth that does not rely on coercion, performance, saviorism, or minimizing harm. This work centers responsibility, boundaries, and truth.
You are craving real sisterhood rather than surface level community.
You want relationship with women who think for themselves, tolerate nuance, and are willing to do their own inner work. Many graduates form lasting friendships and collaborations because the bond is built on shared values.

“The Radical Birth Keeper School is not another birth training. It is a journey into yourself as a woman.
Emilee and Yolande weave together birth, self-mastery, and business in a way that touches every aspect of life, including birth and death. What sets this school apart is its uncompromising devotion to women and the depth of authentic community it creates.
I am not the woman I was when I began. I was witnessed and held in my transformation, and it changed me."
The Syllabus
What You’ll Learn Inside The Radical Birth Keeper School
The Radical Birth Keeper School is an educational program devoted to helping women think clearly, ethically, and responsibly about birth-work outside institutional frameworks. This curriculum is not medical training, does not confer certification, and does not instruct participants in diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making.
What follows is a comprehensive exploration of birth physiology, psychology, culture, consciousness, and the lived realities women encounter when pregnancy, birth, and postpartum unfold outside standardized systems. You will study both the beauty and the complexity of this work, including its limits, its risks, and the responsibility required to engage with it honestly.
Throughout the program, topics often reserved for licensed professionals are examined for understanding, context, and discernment rather than instruction or authority. The intention is to cultivate women who can think critically, regulate themselves, communicate clearly, and remain in integrity when certainty is unavailable.
This school is for women willing to hold nuance, tolerate discomfort, and take full responsibility for how they apply what they learn. The depth of the curriculum reflects the depth of the work itself. Nothing here is casual. Nothing here is promised. What is offered is education, perspective, and the opportunity to grow into greater maturity, clarity, and self-leadership in birth-work and in life.

How the Program Works
When you enroll in The Radical Birth Keeper School, you receive immediate access to the full core curriculum. This includes over 30 hours of pre-recorded lectures that you can move through at your own pace. The material is designed to be revisited, and you retain lifetime access to all course content.
Alongside the curriculum, you are invited into the private student forum for a 16-week integration period. This is a live learning environment where the work comes into practice, not just theory.
During these 16 weeks, you will have access to:
- Weekly office hours held inside the forum, where both Emilee and Yolande are present to answer questions, offer clarification, and support integration of the material
- One live group coaching call each month focused on application, discernment, and self-leadership in birth work
- Ongoing discussion and peer engagement with other students moving through the program at the same time
After the 16-week forum period concludes, you continue to retain lifetime access to all course materials.
For those who wish to stay in ongoing mentorship and live support, there is an optional Advanced Track available after completion of the core program. The Advanced Track provides continued access to the monthly coaching calls and deeper ongoing integration. Participation in the Advanced Track is optional and not required to complete the school.
