  • Thank you for this episode. I grew up in St. Louis and we called the OBGYN the gyny, lol! Bye gyny!! Also I’m a yoga instructor, practice daily, am mindful during my cycle and pregnancy to use restorative poses and no tearing for me at either of my births. Both were undisturbed and I think that’s the difference. id be curious to know how many women tear during birth bc of unprocessed trauma in their pelvis from sexual assault or abuse

  • I really enjoyed exploring the concepts in the episode. While the description promoted radical self-responsibility, the concept of “the patriarchy” was used way too much as a scape goat. Whether one is afflicted by the patriarchy or the matriarchy, it is up to oneself to wake up and take responsibility for your past decisions, give yourself grace, and do better. What you resist persists so lets stop giving all this energy to the “P” word and just recognize that we need to do better. No blames given.
